Ivan Rushmer
Founder of Trackerserver
Ivan Rushmer founded Trackerserver, the tracking platform on which the mesh hardware described on this website is put to work.
Tracking hardware has been a constant in a career that began in the telematics industry in 2014. Several of the largest names in telematics manufacturing count Rushmer as a close collaborator. Rushmer's familiarity with China, where so many tracking devices are conceived and built, is extensive, and new devices have been developed there with Rushmer's involvement.
Rushmer is equally a full-stack software developer, and it is this combination that Trackerserver reflects. A radio device reports numbers; a tracking business needs a floor plan with a named item on it. The platform is the work of joining the one to the other, from the decoding of a device's messages through to the web portal and the mobile applications.
For indoor tracking, Trackerserver works with Teltonika's Wirepas Mesh range of tags, anchors and gateways. Tracking companies take the platform on a dedicated server under their own brand, install the hardware in their clients' buildings, and provide indoor positioning as a service of their own.
